USES AND APPLICATIONS

KLEINOX 4310 (AISI 301/302) austenitic steel. Cr and Ni steel alloy whose average tensile strength can be increased considerably by heat treatment. If cold worked this alloy is applicable to welding with a good fatigue resistance. This steel is well indicated for the production of soft, connectors, watch components, knives, electric needles and feelers.

Diameters: 1.00 – 15.00 mm
Tolerances: ISO h8 (up to h5)
Delivery conditions: in cold drawn or ground bars 3m and Coils

MECHANICAL PROPERTIES

Tensile Strength: ca 1350-2000 N/mm2, depends on diameter
Heat treatment: Possible anneal 1050°C, water cooling It isn’t possible executing hardening through heat treatment
Cutting speed: 15-25 m/min
Lubrificant-cooling fluid i.e.: INOX or ORTHO Motorex
