USES AND APPLICATIONS

TITAN GRADE 5 is a castable Al-V alloyed titanium according to ELI standard (Extra Low Intersticial). This quality is well indicated for the production of surgical, dental implants and instruments, the watch and aviation industries.

Diameters: 1.00 – 15.00 mm
Tolerances: ISO h8 (up to h5)
Delivery conditions: in cold drawn or ground 3m bars and Coils

Elongations: ≥ 10 %
Tensile modulus: 105 Kn/mm2
Transition T°: ~ 980 °C
Cutting speed: 40 – 70 m/min
Infeed: 0.08 – 0.15 mm/ revolution
Cutting angle: – 10° / + 12° it is recommended to use polished tools
Lubrificant-cooling fluid i.e.: INOX or ORTHO Motorex
